It's a Psion 3c, which I bought second-hand in June 1999. It now
lives in my pocket, which is of course exactly where it should be
if it's to be worth having.
Of course, its main use is as a personal organiser (diary, phone numbers, etc); but I also use it as an alarm clock when I'm away from home, a stop-watch for measuring the performance of software on HP workstations, etc. And I'm still trying to beat my own high score on Patience! And one of the main reasons I bought it was as a song-writing tool. For me, it's perfect for getting lyrics down and polishing them until the song's ready. There's a built-in thesaurus which helps occasionally, but I'm kinda hoping someone's got a rhyming dictionary for it... |
